techMechanik From the opening notes, you can hear the attention to detail in the mixing. My favorite track is Mirrors... but that might just be because it's the first and I am listening to it right now. This, solely based on ONE TRACK, is a must buy. You need this in your collection. Favorite track: Mirrors.

Craggar September is just stunning, which is saying something as the rest of the album sets a high bar. I keep coming back to this one. Favorite track: September.

about

"a personal healing journey of processing and making sense... Some stages of the path feel soft and sweet, others pensive, and some even dark, as though storms roll in on the horizon... I’ve heard few albums that feel as personal as this – as though you’re peering directly into someone’s mind or having an intimate conversation with a close friend" (The Post-Rock Way)

"That magical, engulfing atmosphere that I love about The Glass Pavilion is still very much present here... a great album" (DAR Post-Rock)

As with its predecessor, all tracks on this album were written and recorded on 'studio' equipment consisting solely of a smartphone, a laptop, a 32-key MIDI keyboard, and a pair of headphones. All sounds are either virtual instruments or synths.

Recording took place between December 2021 and June 2022.

Thank you (sincerely) for listening.

about

The Glass Pavilion England, UK

The Glass Pavilion is the instrumental project of English musician Ashley Owens. It was begun in 2020 after a brain haemorhage forced Ashley to give up guitar and begin working electronically. As The Glass Pavilion, he blends virtual rock instruments with synth elements to create an atmospheric, psych-tinged sound with elements of post-rock and shoegaze. ... more
